What this site is for
It exists to separate what is established about ultrasound guidance from what is claimed, and to grade each honestly rather than dismissing the technique or endorsing it. That is why every claim is placed in one of four groups, why regulatory status is reported as its own question, and why the limits of the evidence are stated alongside the findings.
What it deliberately does not do
It does not recommend for or against a treatment, and it does not invite a reader toward an assessment, a scan or a consultation. It is not a booking page and it offers no service in relation to anything it describes. It does not name brands of equipment or materials, does not quote prices, and does not present any technique as making an injection safe.
The facts kept visible
Three facts are repeated wherever they are relevant. Imaging shows where vessels run in one person at one moment, and that is a genuine capability. No study has shown that routine scanning reduces how often vascular events happen. And a vascular event is a medical emergency, assessed urgently in person rather than discussed online.
How the content is reviewed and corrected
Ke He, MD, Deputy Director and Head of Skin & Laser Aesthetics, is the responsible physician. This subject moves on a faster clock than most, because equipment and technique change more often than the evidence about outcomes does, so the review is dated and revisited on a short cycle. If you find something unclear, out of date or wrong, the contact page explains how to tell us, and the correction is made to the page itself.
